Community safety
Mad Puzzled is a jigsaw game first. The social parts, crews, shared boards and chat, exist so people can puzzle together. This page is the plain-English version of how we keep them safe.
The rules
- Be decent. No harassment, threats, hate, or sexual content.
- No illegal content or activity of any kind.
- No scams, spam, or attempts to move people to unsafe places.
- Accounts require you to be 16 or older.
Your tools
- Report: every chat message can be reported with a reason. Reports go straight to a human moderation queue.
- Block: blocking someone removes the friendship and stops them contacting you.
- Mute: muting hides someone's messages for you without telling them.
How moderation works
- Chat is filtered before anything is stored: severe content is rejected outright, lesser profanity is masked and the original text is never saved.
- Chat only exists inside your crew and your shared boards. There are no public rooms, no stranger DMs, and no image sharing in chat.
- Deleted messages are hidden from everyone but retained internally so reports can still be investigated.
- A human reviews every report and can remove content and accounts.
Contact
Something urgent, or something the in-app tools do not cover? Use the feedback button anywhere in the app, or the report tool on the message itself. If you believe someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services first.
