Terms of Service

These are the rules for using Mad Puzzled, a jigsaw puzzle game run by WickedSelf LLC ("we", "us"). By playing, you agree to them. We wrote them to be readable; if anything is unclear, email us and we will explain it like a person.
1. Playing the game
- You can play parts of Mad Puzzled without an account. Creating an account requires you to be 16 or older.
- Keep your sign-in email secure: whoever controls the email controls the account. One account per person.
- We give you a personal, non-transferable right to play the game. The game, its code, art, characters (yes, including the scientist), and puzzles belong to us or our licensors.
2. VIP membership and payments
- VIP is offered as a monthly plan, a yearly plan, and a one-time Forever plan. The exact price is always shown before you buy.
- Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancelling takes one click from your Account page and stops future charges; your VIP stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- The Forever plan is a single payment for VIP access for as long as we operate Mad Puzzled. It is not a subscription and never renews.
- Purchases on the website are processed by Stripe. Purchases inside the Android app are processed by Google Play and also follow Google's refund rules.
- Refunds: if something went wrong with a purchase, email us and we will make it right. Nothing here limits refund rights the law gives you.
- Free trials, when we offer them, convert to nothing: when a trial ends you simply go back to the free tier unless you choose to buy.
3. Community conduct
- The social features (crews, shared boards, chat) follow the rules on our Community safety page. Those rules are part of these terms.
- Anything you write in the game stays yours, but you give us permission to show it inside the game (that is what chat is).
- We can remove content and suspend or close accounts that break the rules, cheat, or harm the game or other players.
4. Fair play
- No bots, no automation, no exploiting bugs for advantage, no scraping, and no attempts to break or overload the service.
- Solve times and results may be checked by our anti-cheat systems, and results that fail those checks can be removed.
5. The honest legal part
- Mad Puzzled is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running and improving, but we cannot promise it will always be perfect, uninterrupted, or error-free.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability the law does not allow us to limit.
- We may update the game and these terms. For meaningful changes we will update the date at the top and tell you in the game or by email. Playing after a change means you accept it.
- If we ever shut the service down, we will give reasonable notice.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA. Any dispute that ends up in court will be handled in the state or federal courts of Maricopa County, Arizona. Before it ever gets there, email us; almost everything can be fixed with a conversation.
