This Cookie Policy explains what cookies Mad Puzzled sets, why, and how you can control them. By using the Service you consent to essential cookies as described below.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser. Cookies allow websites to remember information about your visit so you don't have to log in every time or re-enter preferences.
1. Essential Cookies
These cookies are required for the Service to function. They are set automatically when you log in and cannot be disabled without breaking authentication.

No raw personal data is stored in this cookie — it contains an opaque session token that Supabase uses to verify your identity server-side.
2. Analytics Cookies
We use PostHog for product analytics in cookieless mode. It does not set cookies or store identifiers on your device; no analytics cookies are used. PostHog collects only aggregate, anonymous usage data and respects the Do-Not-Track browser signal.
3. No Advertising Cookies
We do not run advertising. No ad-network or tracking cookies are set by Mad Puzzled.
4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You can manage cookies in the following ways:
- On-site notice: When you first visit, an informational notice explains that only essential cookies are used and that analytics is cookieless. Dismissing it acknowledges the notice; there are no non-essential cookies to accept or decline.
- Browser settings:You can clear or block cookies in your browser's privacy settings. Note that blocking the essential auth cookie will prevent you from staying logged in.
- Sign out: Signing out of your account removes the auth session cookie immediately.
5. Third-Party Cookies
Third-party services we use (Supabase, Vercel) may set their own cookies as part of infrastructure operation. These are governed by their own privacy policies. Mad Puzzled does not control these cookies.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as we add new features. Material changes will be noted here with a revised effective date.
