Terms of Service

By accessing or using Mad Puzzled (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Mad Puzzled. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Usage Rules
You agree not to:
- Automate or script puzzle interactions (bots, scrapers, or similar tools).
- Circumvent the anonymous-play gate (one free puzzle per device/IP) through technical means.
- Attempt to access, alter, or delete any data belonging to another user.
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms.
One puzzle is released per day. The Service is designed for personal, non-commercial enjoyment.
3. Intellectual Property
All puzzle images, brand assets, the “Mad Puzzled” name, and the character “Dr. Jay Shaw” are owned by Mad Puzzled and its creator. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Service without written permission, except for personal sharing features expressly provided by the Service (e.g., the share card feature).
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that daily puzzles will always be available.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mad Puzzled and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
6. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we determine that you have violated these Terms, abused the Service, or engaged in any conduct harmful to other users or to us. You may also delete your own account at any time from the Account page.
7. Premium / Pro Features
Premium subscription terms will be added when Pro features launch. Until then, all features are available under these Terms at no charge (subject to the one-free-play anonymous limit before account creation).
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts located in Texas.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
